Administrative By-Law

The passing of the new Conservation Authorities Act by the Ontario legislature in December of 2017 resulted in many modifications to the previous Act. Under the new legislation, there is the requirement for all conservation authorities to establish a new administrative by-law by December 2018.

The Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority passed Third Reading of it’s Administrative By-law 01/2018. The By-law outlines the governance of the SSMRCA by its Board members.

Administrative By-law 01/2018 takes effect August 30, 2018 and is available to view below.
