Algoma Earth Day BioBlitz April 22 - 24, 2022

Celebrate Earth Day by submitting your nature sightings from the Algoma District to iNaturalist! This is a 3-day long event, taking place from April 22nd to 24th, 2022. This event is brought to you by the City of Sault Ste. Marie, The Kensington Conservancy and the Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority.
How to participate: Step 1: Create an iNaturalist account. ? Step 2: Download the iNaturalist app on your mobile device (Google Play or Apple App Store) and learn about how to submit an observation here. Step 3: Register for the bioblitz on The Kensington Conservancy's website (to the left) in order to be eligible for prizes. ? Step 4: Go outside between April 22 - 24, take photos of any wild plant, insect or animal that you encounter within the Algoma District, and upload them through the app on your smartphone or through the website on your computer. You must submit at least five (5) observations to be eligible for prizes.
